Every so often, especially here in New England, the subject turns to Mr. Harris Dunlap's kennel of Siberian Huskies.

Around the year 2001, we were offered Jello from Francois Hamel. Jello in our opinion is the quintessential Siberian Husky. Beautiful in type, movement and attitude. Even at this writing, Jello who today turns 11.52 years old, exudes Attitude! The Seppala attitude we were turned onto right from the beginning of this journey.

A few years after inviting Jello into our home, we obtained from Phil Ruhl, two more dogs with strong Seppala influence. All three of these dogs have gone on to produce successful litters for us.

When these three dogs came into our home from well respected breeders/mushers, we accepted them with open hearts and minds. Recently we were approached by an oversee acquaintance and the question of bloodlines came up.... again. Yup it's back there. In fact, a dog within each of their respective pedigrees touts the Zero kennel prefix. It is now, buried if you will, 6-7 generations.

For the record, these are the three and only three, Zero prefix dogs presently in our program.

* Zero's Cloud AKC WC 093801 - found in pedigree of Ivory, Jello, Emma and Loutus and their respective offspring
